Shore Boat Works have been building hundreds of commercial grade vessels since the 1960s, including tugboats, research vessels, passenger carrying boats and yachts, but mostly fish boats. Western Shore, ex Canadian Shore, started out as a Salmon Seiner and then was converted to an expedition yacht at ABD shipyard in North Vancouver in 2002 by the previous owner.
She sleeps up to 12 including a master stateroom. The galley is large and well laid out with a large stainless fridge freezer and a restaurant grade stove grill, oven. The adjacent dinette seats up to 8. The fish holds were converted to a sauna, shower , large side by side fridge freezer, and crews quarters and washer dryer. The main is a 1993 3412 Cat rebuilt in 2009 , with an Isuzu 6RB1 back up motor with 1001 hrs since rebuild in 2009. There are 3 Isuzu gensets. This strategic moorage is located at the mouth of the river in brackish water with ample parking, trades and is a tourist destination. Coast Guard CSI certificate good until 2026.
