A true Classic Grand Banks 36, one of over 1200 models built. They started out in 1965 building with mahogany and switched over to fiberglass in 1973. This boat is one of the early fiberglass models.
You are looking at a semi-displacement hull with a long keel, hard chines and a deep forefoot, which means stability and easy handling when docking. Safety at sea is standard fare on a Grand Banks, with plenty of hand holds, wide side decks with raised bulwarks and high railings. Twin reliable Ford Lehmans for steady power and great economy.
This is a bit of a project boat but reported in good mechanical shape with some modern updates. The 200g aluminum fuel tanks have been replaced.
