This American Tug has been exceptionally well cared for with extensive service records upon request. This is a really clean example right down to the engine compartment bilge. If you have never been aboard an American Tug you are in for a treat, she actually rides like a real tug. The bow is proud with loads of freeboard and can handle large seas with ease. This hull is based off an Alaskan fishboat design which operates in the Bering sea. In late 1999, a team of three industry veterans partnered with Senour to form Tomco Marine Group. Their mission: To design top-of-the-line pleasure craft based on the rugged, reliable hulls used in the Alaska salmon fishery. Leveraging their combined experience they created the American Tug 34/365: a perfect couple’s cruiser based on Senour’s original 34’ fishing boat design. The AT 34/365 offered an unprecedented combination of comfort, craftsmanship and seaworthiness, becoming an instant classic. The single cummins diesel will push this tug up to 17 knots , but at 8 knots is very economical. There is a full width swimgrid with a transom door to the spacious cockpit. Stairs lead up to the upper deck which has plenty of room and a davit for launching the new alum RIB complete with electric torqeedo kicker. The exterior doors are all commercial grade watertight doors, including the two pilot house doors and the cockpit salon entry. The salon is bright and spacious with an inline galley and hardwood dinette which converts to a berth. Step up to the raised pilothouse with great 360 degree visibility. The forward master stateroom has a queen Island bed and a large jack and jill ensuite with a walk in shower, solar panel, reverso oil change, cockpit shower.
