This is a sailors boat and these spirited sailing vessels can often be found on club racing circuits as they sail beautifully. Kelena is extremely well equipped with a custom hard-top dodger, bimini, self-tailing winches, lazy jacks for easy folding of the Main, electric windlass and solar panels for off-the-grid cruising.
The wood work on this boat is simply gleaming and the interior shows in “as new” condition with a large v-berth, enclosed head, comfortable main salon with seating around a large centreline positioned table, aft galley with a fridge, stove with oven and plenty of storage. The option to install the full cockpit enclosure will extend the cruising season to year round use and the bulkhead heater will keep the boat nice and warm in the cooler months.
Repowered with a Volvo Penta MD2020 diesel engine and a custom sail drive installation to get rid of the “walk” associated with these boats, this vessel comes complete with Quicksilver dinghy with electric outboard and assumable moorage at our Westport Marina in Sidney.
